Warren Central Warriors Varsity Softball Clinches Lead in Sixth Inning for Victory Over Lawrence North to go 2-0 in the MIC!
Warren Central Warriors Varsity snagged a late lead and defeated Lawrence North 4-3 on Tuesday.  The game was tied at three with Warren Central Warriors Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Madison Johnson doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Lawrence North scored three runs in the sixth inning, but Warren Central Warriors Varsity still managed to pull out the victory.  Arianna Hamilton, Delaney Hendrickson, and Jodelyn Wims all moved runners across the plate with RBIs in the inning.

Megan Sanders earned the win for Warren Central Warriors Varsity. She allowed five hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out nine.

Taylor Burket was in the circle for Lawrence North. She lasted six innings, allowing eight hits and four runs while striking out eight.

Warren Central Warriors Varsity tallied eight hits on the day.  Johnson and Madison Wagers all managed multiple hits for Warren Central Warriors Varsity.  Johnson went 3-for-3 at the plate to lead Warren Central Warriors Varsity in hits.

Taylor Erschen led Lawrence North with two hits in four at bats.
