May 12, 2021
Good afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff,
A few important announcements for the week of May 12th are below:
This is a friendly reminder for families who are interested in the K-8 VIRTUAL or 9-12 ONLINE programs for the 2021-22 school year. Applications are linked below and are available on our website. Applications will remain open until late July. It is our plan for the 21-22 school year to return to IN-PERSON 5 days a week. More details will be provided as we get closer to the start of the school year.
If you or someone you know is looking to be part of a great team and make a difference in the Warren community, please join us at our hiring fair this Saturday, May 15th from 10AM - 1PM at our Transportation facility located at 9150 Rawles Ave. Positions available include bus drivers, bus monitors, bus mechanics and custodians. All of these positions include competitive wages and benefits, as well as flexible hours. Please join us for lunch and if interested, an opportunity to test drive a school bus. We would love to have you join Team Warren!
As of May 12th, all Warren families are eligible for the Emergency Broadband Benefit Program. This program was created by the FCC to expand broadband internet to more families during the pandemic. It will provide a discount of up to $50 per month towards broadband service for eligible households. Additional assistance is also available for purchasing devices. Details and enrollment information can be found at GetEmergencyBroadband.org. You can also visit our NewsFeed on our website for more details.
Have a great rest of your week and thank you for your continued investment in Warren students and schools.
