Greetings, this is Mrs. Taylor, proud principal of Warren Central High School!
The semester is winding down yet there is still plenty of time for students to earn credits, raise grades, get assignments completed, and actively participate in their learning. We will continue to provide support via study tables, tutoring, and our upcoming "Super Saturdays". Friendly reminder that students will get out of this semester what they have put into it. It is even more important for our students to understand that teachers have continually offered grace and have put policies in place to support students all semester long. I have asked teachers to adhere to policies put in place and that students and parents understand that "poor planning, poor participation, poor attendance and procrastination by the student does not constitute an emergency on our part". The goal will be to give them as much support as possible in the time we have left this semester but that we all agree that this has to be a joint effort. Please see the communications that have gone out all semester in all school newsletters and grade level newsletters with our attendance policy, late work policy, and grading policy. You may reach out via email to teachers and/or your student's counselor with clarifying questions.
Thanksgiving break will begin Tuesday, November 22nd! The school will resume on Monday, November 27th. The last day for all students this first semester will be December 22nd with an early release of all students at 1:20 pm.
As always, thank you for all you do to support your student and Warren Central High School! Let's finish strong!
